Overview of Art in Island Experience

First thing first, know the basics…

1. Where could you find this art museum?

Art in Island as shown in the image below is a 3D art gallery located at 175 15th Avenue Cubao Quezon City Metro Manila Philippines.

2. What’s the opening hours?

The museum welcomes visitors every Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays until 8:30 PM. Note that ticket sales and admission close earlier on weekdays at 6:00 PM and on weekends at 7:00 PM.

3. How much is the entrance fee?

When it comes to the admission fees, rest assured it’s budget-friendly and worth it. Adults pay only ₱850.00, while high school and college students enjoy a rate of ₱700.00, and it's ₱600.00 for kindergarten to grade school students, as well as for senior citizens or PWDs. Children below 3 feet enter for free. Remember to bring a valid ID, especially for students, senior citizens, or PWDs, as it's required for entry.

4. How to buy tickets?

You can purchase the ticket directly at the museum upon arrival. Yes, you heard it right, tickets are available on-site, so no need for reservations. Simply have cash or Gcash ready as payment options. However, if you prefer to have your tickets in hand before arriving or wish to skip the queue, online booking is another convenient option. You can purchase tickets through Klook, with the same fees. This hassle-free approach is particularly beneficial during holidays when crowds are expected. So, buying your tickets online is a good decision too.

5. What to observe inside Art in Island?

Here are the dos and don’ts or safety measures to observe and follow while you are inside Art in Island.

  • Footwear such as shoes or slippers are not permitted inside the museum. You'll need to store your shoes in the provided lockers before exploring the gallery. Socks are a must, as barefoot entry is not allowed either.

  • Running is highly discouraged inside the gallery to avoid accidents, especially since the floor can be slippery.

  • Food and beverages are prohibited inside the art museum. You have to eat at the dining location when hunger strikes you. The most nearby one is a Korean restaurant which can be found within the museum premises. Also, other dining options are available around the area.

For the above-mentioned information, always check Art in Island's FB page or other social accounts to keep yourself updated.

Now, let's proceed with the memorable Art in Island Experience...

A simple tip to make your experience truly memorable, capture every moment through photos and videos. Dress comfortably and stylishly.

1. Best Photo and Video Spots

As someone who finds joy in capturing scenic views, I was captivated by the myriad of picturesque spots throughout the art museum. The 3D art adds an extra layer of wonder to each snapshot.

My personal favorite was the Circle of Seasons, where I felt transported amidst a sea of cherry blossoms, reminiscent of South Korea. While cherry blossoms may not be originally from Korea, they hold a special place in my heart, evoking my desire to visit South Korea as my favorite country destination. Sharing with you the video below which my friend captured beautifully. Also, a photo that I felt so loved because of the heart-shaped background.

Another highlight was The Stage, offering ample seating and excellent lighting for striking photos. My friend and I spent a considerable amount of time here, capturing memories to cherish as shown below, while resting since this spot was one of the areas best to rest.

2. Activities with Family, Friends, and Special Someone

I’ve said earlier that Art in Island is a good place to relax and bond with family, friends, or your special someone. Indeed it is! It offers the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories with your loved ones. Also, beyond snapping photos, take the time to appreciate the stories behind each artwork. Before entering each section, you'll find brief descriptions providing insights into the art's narrative. Take a look at a few examples below. Make it a point to absorb these details as part of your museum experience, and you'll be amazed by the depth of each piece.

3. Rest and Dining Areas

Of course, it can’t be denied that after exploring the museum, you may find yourself in need of rest and refreshment. The final bow, The Stage, provides a serene setting for relaxation, complete with nearby restroom facilities. I’ve also mentioned above that this area was where my friend and I stayed for ample time because of the rest-mode vibe.

For dining spots, a Korean restaurant awaits just steps away for those craving a bite to eat. Alternatively, venture to nearby dining destinations like Cubao Expo for a diverse culinary experience. This was where we found a place to eat. In addition, it’s free to go around and explore this so-called Cubao Expo. Let me know in the comment section if you want a detailed review of this expo.
